An incredibly popular pain relief tool for unmedicated labor. Over half our babies end up being born in the water.

You can have a VBAC at home. VBAC is a safe, reasonable, and appropriate option for most people who've had a prior cesarean section. Even if your local hospital doesn't provide VBAC, you can still make a plan for the birth you want, whether at home or in a different hospital.

Shared Decision Making

You make decisions for yourself after being fully informed of your options, weighing the risks and benefits, learning what the best evidence is on the subject, and taking into account your preferences and needs.

Midwifery Care

"The midwife is a responsible and accountable professional who works in partnership with women to give the necessary support, care and advice during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period, to conduct births on the midwife’s own responsibility and to provide care for the newborn and the infant. This care includes preventative measures, the promotion of normal birth, the detection of complications in mother and child, the accessing of medical care or other appropriate assistance and the carrying out of emergency measures."
